Lawfirm Client Portal

Client
A large employment lawfirm

One of the largest employment lawfirms in the world approached the Rightpoint team to completely reinvent the way that they provide their clients with resources and insights on their cases. Our small team designed and built a custom portal from the ground up to unify many of our client's disparate tools and resources into one easy-to-navigate hub. The platform is being rolled out to rave reviews by the client and our team is continually designing and developing new features in close collaboration with their internal product team.

Through constant iteration and throwing out our preconceived notions of what a lawfirm's client portal "should" look like, we created a highly visual, easy to navigate platform with a futuristic visual flair. By using card-based organization, we helped pages with quite disparate content feel unified as a single experience.

Our small team was presented with a complex and disparate content hierarchy containing dozens of interrelated topics and jurisdictions, which themselves contain dozens of documents and insights. By closely collaborating with the content and development teams, we simplified this system for the user and created a much more visual browsing experience. I also took it upon myself to create a system of icons to help visually distinguish the many different resources available in the client portal.

We didn't only focus on the external users of the client portal, though. We designed a custom administration system to suit the unique needs of the small team that will be managing the platform. By making navigating between different clients and the different users within those clients, we significantly smoothed out the (previously very tedious) processes of adding users, controlling content access, and addressing technical issues - all with the same level of polish that was afforded to the external users.
